Rosie Clarke selected to fight the Shadwell by-election

Tower Hamlets Liberal democrats last night selected Rosie Clarke to be the party's candidate in the Shadwell by-election to be held on August 9, 2007. Speaking after the selection meeting the local Association Chair, Janet Ludlow said "Rosie brings freshness, enthusiasm and political experience to this election and we are delighted that she has been selected as the Libdem candidate".

Rosie has extensive political experience having been a campaigner and party worker in Mid Dorset. She lead the re-election campaign for Annette Brooke MP in 2005, increasing her majority by over 5000 votes. In addition she has worked on parliamentary by-elections in Hartlepool, Cheadle and Ealing Southall.
