Rosie for Shadwell!

Rosie Clarke has been selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate to stand in the Shadwell by-election on August 9. Rosie is standing for the first time in Tower Hamlets but she has considerable political experience from parliamentary elections having worked with Libdem MP Annette Brooke in Mid-Dorset.

Rosie was born and raised in Saffron Walden, Essex and moved to London to go to university. She studied Government at the London School of Economics before commencing her career as a public affairs consultant where she lobbies government on behalf of financial institutions.

In her spare time Rosie keeps fit by running around Victoria Park, but she has only recently learned how to ride a bike! She is a voracious reader and runs a book club (just finished 'Saturday' by Ian McEwan).

Rosie has a passion for education starting with the youngest children.

If she had a entry in Who's Who, (and it will happen!) Rosie would list her interests as: Icecream, picnics, scrabble, sudoku, watching Eastenders, climbing walls, opera and standup comedy. Photos of all these activities may or may not follow...
